No printed weekly ads

Went to store on outer loop in Louisville, KY. Weekly ads are printed up every other week now but not this week. The guy at the front said I could get a print out of sale items from customer service desk. But they said they can't do that. I would have to look them up on a computer. So I left store to go to my computer at home. Smh. I guess I will only buy from a bestbuy store every other week. So this week I might as well buy from amazon since I'm at my computer now. I would prefer to buy from a local store but you make it too difficult.

Re: No printed weekly ads

Welcome to the Best Buy forums Methos-

How I was explained this occurrence when I worked in the store is that Best Buy is constantly looking for ways to eliminate waste.  It’s disappointing to hear you were not able to get the ad in the way you were hoping, but please know we are not doing this to make shopping harder with us, but more to see how we can reduce our footprint on this planet!

There will be a handful of dates in the upcoming year where our digital ad will be the only one available.  These deals can be seen on any smart phone, or computing device.  We are sorry if this is off putting to you, and please know we still value all of our customers, but sometimes we have to explore other possibilities to help protect the environment around us.

Thank you for your understanding of the situation, and I hope to see you visit our stores once again during a week where our ads are being displayed so you can take advantage of our great deals.  In the meantime please click the link HERE for our weekly digital ads, and be sure to message us back if you have any other questions!

Respectfully,

Re: No printed weekly ads

I thought you would like to know that the Houston Chronicle is not delivering your weekly Sunday insert to all Chronicle subscribers, at least to several in Spring Valley Village, ZIP code 77055. I have not received a BestBuy insert since early June, despite my weekly phone calls and emails to the subscriber assistance department. It may seem trivial to complain about not receiving your insert, but I worry about what else I may be missing. I consider not receiving your flyer the "canary" for other potential problems.

Re: No printed weekly ads

I'm actually another Houston Chronicle subsciber who no longer receives the Best Buy circular ad in their Sunday paper.  I'm in the 77469 zipcode (Richmond, TX).  While having the ad available via your website is fine, I much prefer to be able to look through a physical ad to see if any potential purchase catches my eye, so it is definitely detrimental to Best Buy in terms of my deciding on purchases to not receive a physical ad each week.

Re: No printed weekly ads

To Whom It May Concern:

Just an FYI: For the second Sunday in a row, your weekly Sunday ad insert was NOT included in the Sunday edition of the Allentown (PA) Morning Call that I received. I contacted the newspaper both times but am still not receiving your inserts. Since you are paying that company to deliver your ad, assuming there should be one in each paper, you may want to contact them yourself because you are apparently not receiving the service you are paying for (like me!)

As another writer said, the online ad is okay, but I much prefer having a hard copy to refer to when making shopping decisions.

Thanks for looking into this matter. I hope it can be resolved and I can once again receive your weekly, printed Sunday ad!
