New Cell Phone Information

  This Was My Original email to BB on 09/15/2020. I never recieved a response.

 

I wanted to reach out and voice my displeasure over a recent transaction. I was buying  a new cell phone for my wife, I selected two that I was interested in but needed some questions answered before making a decision. Your web site did not answer the questions I had so I made an appointment to talk to a Blue Shirt in that department. He answered all the questions and I chose the more expensive one based solely on the information he gave me. The most important  question was “Can You Use The Belkin Stand Up Charger Like This One”, (There Was A Identical Charger On His Work Station), he stated absolutely, I told him that this was very important because my wife had problems trying to plug in the charger so this was mandatory. I made the purchase, took the phone to the Carrier, had everything transferred and recycled the old phone.  Long story short. This phone cannot be charged with the Belkin Stand up charger like I was told by your associate. Now I’m stuck with a phone that won’t do what I was told it would do. I always trusted what I was told by the associates, guess that is my fault. This will never happen again If and when I ever purchase electronics from Best Buy again.

Welcome to our community forums. I appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience with this purchase. I know that a cell phone is a big purchase and I would want to make sure a new phone would do exactly what was needed if I were in your shoes.

 

Have you had an opportunity to return to the store where you made this purchase to let them know about your experience? If not, I would be glad to reach out to them on your behalf. Which store location did you visit and when did you make this purchase? Do you remember the name of the associate you spoke to?
