I went in store today to purchase a new laptop that should of came with the student promo coupon. The person that was helping me, said the laptop I was getting was compatible for the student discount. I was still undecided on which one I wanted to get, and was looking around some more. The first person never came back (Lunch break idk) So someone else helped me get the original laptop, that should of came with the discount.
I asked if the discount was applied, and he told me there wasn't one. I figured maybe It wasnt available until I checked again on the best buy website which says it does have it available. So, just seeing how I would go about getting the adjusted price or $100 back? (Online if possible) I'm guessing it was just a simple mix up but, Any savings would be nice for a $1,300 laptop.

Hi there, woofy029,
Welcome to the forum, and thank you for choosing to shop with us for a laptop! I know they can be quite an investment, so any savings you can find is a fantastic opportunity. Our Student Deals are a great option, so I can understand how disappointed I would be if I purchased a qualifying laptop but then didn't get the coupon applied.
In order to get the Student Deals, you would want to ensure you're signed up. Once signed up, these offers would appear in your My Best Buy offers to be applied during checkout. Generally, these coupons are only able to be applied during purchase, and can't be applied after the purchase has been completed. I would be happy to see how we may rectify this for you, so please feel welcome to send a private message my way via the link in my signature below with your name, phone number, and email address.
