Nasty rude workers

I am completely disappointed and disgusted in The experience I encountered in the Iselin NJ location ( 675 US Highway 1 S, Iselin, NJ 08830) on Sun 2/23/20 at about 7:40 pm . I went in to make a return for a mophie juice pack air which I purchased for Valentine’s Day for my boyfriend . He decided he did not want to make use of that item because he will be purchasing a new iPhone that will not be capable with this charging case . I went in store , not aware of any 15 day return policy that you may have. I asked nicely if I can return this Item as it was not opened and not used , they actually accused me of opening the item as well, Which is not right to do when that wasn’t the case, after they denied my return and told me that I was only allowed to get store credit and that they were “doing me a favor” by returning the item and giving me store credit . I let them know how they are not “doing me a favor “ by refunding me my $58.63 to my original form of payment . I am doing Best Buy a favor by shopping religiously in your store!!! I am a valuable customer and spent over $1,500 n the last year , most of which I purchased on my credit card. Their should be no reason of me not being allowed to have my money back to my card. I explained how I was not aware of the stores return policy and how I have been busy with my newborn and toddler . The nasty unprofessional immature people that you have working for your company and think they are well experienced to be managers should be fired!!! They told me they do not need my business and I shouldn’t return to their store all!!!!  I just wanted to return a phone case !!!! Totally uncalled for and rude!!!!! By the way their names are DANYELLA AND ERIC {Removed per forum guidelines} in the Iselin NJ store!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be sure to make my future electronic purchases from amazon , because they do practice good customer service and actually have morals and respect for their customers !!! I’ll be sure to tell my friends/family about my experience too!!!!

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. Thanks for reaching out to us to let us know about your experience at our Iselin store. I can understand wanted to get a refund on a product that you aren't going to use, especially with it being a gift.

 

Under our Return & Exchange Promise, that product would have a 15-day return period, and the store would have had to have made an exception to refund it as store credit. That said, they should not have been rude to you at all. I'd like to look more closely into this for you.
