This is very disappointing, I feel your pain. I bought a gaming laptop recently, but later saw a great deal on a better, newer model for almost the same price somewhere else. I went to my account online and was that I was just a couple of days past my return window, it simply said "No longer returnable". So I know how it feels, but at the same time, two weeks should be plenty of time to realize if we want a product or not. I didn't try to argue with them or anything. I knew I had my time, and the time had expired, so I just have to live with my original decision.
One of the options we have, it to sell a product ourselves, to buy something else. Yes it's not as good as just getting a full refund, but the Surface Earbuds appear to sell for up to $175 in pre-owned condition on eBay.
I haven't tried Google Buds, but I actually have Samsung Buds and Buds+ and I really like them. They sound great, have wireless charging and look good. The Buds+ have more microphones and work better for calls. Highly recommend them.
