Lost Gift Cards Purchased in Store

Good Afternoon. I bought a $50 Amazon gift card and two $10 PlayStation cards in a store yesterday using my debit card. The register person put the receipt for the purchase in the bag. Unfortunately the bag has been lost sometime between yesterday and today. I’m assuming a receipt can be found by searching my debit card number for the purchase. Would there be a way to cancel any of those gift cards — particularly the Amazon one — and be credited so I can repurchase them assuming they haven’t been stolen and used?

Re: Lost Gift Cards Purchased in Store

Good afternoon, Nyitalian412,

Welcome to our forums.  It’s often frustrating when any item seemingly goes missing, especially something you’ve only recently purchased.  I’m sorry to hear this seems to be the case with the Amazon and PlayStation gift cards you’ve purchased with us.

While we may be able to locate your receipt for these purchases, please know we’ll be unable to cancel or reissue third-party gift cards such as the Amazon and PlayStation cards you’ve purchased, once they’ve been lost.  I realize this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, and I apologize for any further disappointment this news may bring.
