A few weeks ago I returned a monitor that was having connectivity issues through the Geek Squad Product Replacement policy I purchased. I was issued a gift card with store credit for the original amount of my purchase.
I later tried to use the gift card to purchase a replacement monitor through Best Buy's Customer Chat because I needed to have it price-matched. However, the gift card balance was not used because the customer service rep forgot to ask for the pin number. I provided this information later on, but it appears that Best Buy charged the entire balance on my credit card anyways.
Unfortunately, I am unable to now locate the card with the store credit I was issued for replacing my monitor.
I contacted Best Buy chat support and was told I needed to go and speak to the customer service that I returned my monitor too. However, I went in yesterday and was told by store employees to contact Best Buy's corporate office or online support. I am just being given the runaround while my store credit is just sitting in limbo somewhere.
Please help! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank!
