As someone who uses their computer often, after all, I work on one all day, I know it is crucial to have a great monitor!
I also know that it is not fun to get the runaround when it comes to getting support. I am not sure why someone would have advised that you speak with a District Manager, as District Managers are not available for customer support. Instead, their role is to support our store employees.
That said, the General Manager would be the highest manager you would be able to speak with at the store level. Though, I do feel it is important to mention that damaged items do fall outside of our Return & Exchange Promise which makes them nonrefundable.
We want the opportunity to review your calls for coaching and training opportunities, like the misinformation given recommending you contact a District Manager. We would also be delighted to send over the General Manager your experience as detailed here and request that the General Manager give you a call. It is important to note that this may not provide you with an alternate outcome.
To do these things, we'd just need you to send us a private message with your order number, phone number, full name, email, and the store in question.

The option to send a private message is to the far right of my signature.
You are absolutely entitled to pay for a repair on the monitor. However, we do not currently repair monitors, so this option wouldn't be something that we could explore with you.
At this time, I would not be able to provide any further comments on this, as I can only offer you information based on our policies. That said, if you do take me up on my offer to send this to the General Manager of the location you visited, I am sure that the General Manager would be happy to speak with you more.
