Looking to get ahold of the district mager in my region ,93277 visalia california.

I ordered a refurbished acer predator monitor and when i unboxed it i noticed the stand was in front if the screen ,i didnt think anything of it until i set it up and noticed i had a cracked screen. So i call the local bestbuy to explain what happend so they tell me just bring it in and they'll exchange or refund it. I wasnt happy with that still just because i waited 2 weeks for this item and i didnt want to have to wait again so i call corporate and all they could tell me was to take it in and they would exchange it or refund me . So i go the next day to do so and what do u know they denied me any kind of refund or exchange based on the assistant managers own opinion on how it actually broke. I then show her where the stand was located and how the break is the same exact size of the stand. She totally disregarded the obvious and still continued to basically call me a liar and tell me sorry i cant help u . She claimed there was obvious signs of a fall,wich is false there is nothing wrong with eges or monitor ,the break is on the screen only . To top it all of Besides the fact she denied me any kind of anything she was also very condescending and very rude.. so i stay in the store for almost two hours calling corporate asking what i should do. They then tell me they cant do anything because my refurbished item was delivered to the store so its up to the store to decide what to do. So i hang up talk to the assistant
Manager again and i get no where again so i called corperate again and then they recomended getting ahold of the district manager so i ask the assistant manger for any info on how to get ahold of their district manger. She then tells me she can get me the general manager ,i then tell her thats not what i asked for. Pretty much swaying me away from what i just asked . she then refues to give any info on how to go about contacting the district manager. So i call corperate again and all they did was tell me that they will notify the general manager to contact me with any further info on what to do about this situation. Pretty much it was a blame game. corporate saying its on the store and the store telling me that its on coperate o and not to mention the store blaming me for the break.. so now im waiting but i have a strong suspension nothing will actually happen so here i am writing this unnecessary post.. im so livid . I spent almost 600 dollars on a broken item that im now being blamed for ,Based off the stores assistant mangers own opinions on how my screen actually broke. Im not gonna let this issue go until something is done about this. I have pictures and proof that this item wasn't broken because of a fall,it was faulty packaging and now im being treated like a second class citizen because of best buys doing.. this is so ridiculous that i should even have to be doing any of this. It just isnt right that a billion dollar company can take advantage of people like me.. best buy ,you need to fix this problem asap..

Hi there, NeedyNate, 

 

As someone who uses their computer often, after all, I work on one all day, I know it is crucial to have a great monitor! 

 

I also know that it is not fun to get the runaround when it comes to getting support. I am not sure why someone would have advised that you speak with a District Manager, as District Managers are not available for customer support. Instead, their role is to support our store employees. 

 

That said, the General Manager would be the highest manager you would be able to speak with at the store level. Though, I do feel it is important to mention that damaged items do fall outside of our Return & Exchange Promise which makes them nonrefundable. 

 

We want the opportunity to review your calls for coaching and training opportunities, like the misinformation given recommending you contact a District Manager. We would also be delighted to send over the General Manager your experience as detailed here and request that the General Manager give you a call. It is important to note that this may not provide you with an alternate outcome. 

 

To do these things, we'd just need you to send us a private message with your order number, phone number, full name, email, and the store in question.

So im suppose to just take my loss and nobody is held accountable ? A 600 dollar monitor that i had to wait for,for 2 weeks that i get thats cracked,im suppose to just deal with it huh? The store assistant manager said it was up to her to determine if she gives me an exchange or refund so apparently there could be a solution, she just chose not to give me a solution,well not one that bennifets me a paying customer.. i have a three thousand dollar computer that i cant even use because of bestbuy,due to no monitor.. at the very least u guys could have offered a repair for a decent fee but you guys cant even do that ? Im so over all this id honestly be willing to pay for a repair at this point. Its a great monitor and i still want it but u guys arent trying to comprimise with anything . This is an outrageous situation . I was in the store for almost two hours yesterday trying to get something done and while waiting i seen a hand full of people return items with no issue at all. One guy had a supposed damaged dvd player yet they took his word for it and he didnt even return it in the box or with anything that came with it other than his receipt but me im labled a liar (basicly) and denied any kind of solution to this ridiculous problem. It isnt fair that they have the ability to pick and choose like that..

The option to send a private message is to the far right of my signature. 

 

You are absolutely entitled to pay for a repair on the monitor. However, we do not currently repair monitors, so this option wouldn't be something that we could explore with you. 

 

At this time, I would not be able to provide any further comments on this, as I can only offer you information based on our policies. That said, if you do take me up on my offer to send this to the General Manager of the location you visited, I am sure that the General Manager would be happy to speak with you more.

You said you ordered it. Was it shipped to you? Normally you would call the online people and they would have you send it back.

The store honered my return ,luckily the general manager remembered me picking the item up..
