Item Not Given With Purchase

[ Edited ]

I went to purchase the google smart light starter kit with google assistant from the Homewood Best Buy (Store 1048). The product was out of stock so I was told  that I can purchase the item listed in the ad and have the order shipped to the store. I purchased the item (Order {removed per forum guidelines} but when I went to pick up the product on 2-5-19, I was not given the free bulbs that was supposed to come with the offer. The advertisement was for a google assistant with smart light plus 2 free smart LED bulbs. When I inquired about the bulbs, the associate who identified himself as the manager said no bulbs were included. I showed him my screenshot of the sale ad and he still would not honor the advertisement. I asked for a refund because I wanted the item from the ad. Can this issue be resolved and my purchase honored and fulfilled as advertised.

Thank you,

Re: Item Not Given With Purchase

Hello, gwin01,

Welcome to the Best Buy Support Online Forum Community! Getting a free item with your purchase can certainly be exciting. We’re sorry to hear that your order may not have included the free smart LED bulbs you were expecting with your purchase.

Offers can vary from and what’s available in-store. Also, sometimes certain offers need to be added to your cart at the time of purchase to qualify too. Can you please send us a private message with your full name, phone number, and email address? We’d be happy take a peek at your original order and see how we may be able to help. Please note we’d be unable to make any particular guarantees of a certain outcome, at this time. A private message can be sent to us by choosing the “Private Message” button next to my name at the bottom.
