In store purchase turned to shipment gone wrong

I came into Winston Plaza Melrose Park Illinois location 9/3/2020 to purchase a Mavic Mini drone. After getting help from manager Julian {removed per forum guidelines}, and checking item out at register with Mr. {removed per forum guidelines}I was able to at the time, purchase said item. As I was walking out Mr. Julian {removed per forum guidelines} waved for me to come back. Told me he made a mistake by accidentally putting in the system to ship me the item for next day. Frustrated, yet understanding. Sometimes we have our days. I was able to just give back the item and go forward with the item just getting shipped to me next day 9/4/2020. Morning of 9/4/2020 I get an email around 3:30 am stating “item is delayed. If not shipped by September 11th we will email you to cancel item”. Even more frustrated I was promised by Mr. Julian {removed per forum guidelines} it will definitely arrive by 9/4/2020 when I was in store with the physical item in hand on 9/3/2020. A complete mess and lack of attention during time of purchase on Mr. Julian {removed per forum guidelines} who is also the manager at Melrose Park Illinois location. Will this be able to be fixed or else I will boycott this location and get my money back.
