I returned a item have not received a refund

I bought some earphones on dec 13th. Returned them the same day since they didn't sound good to me. Haven't received a refund on my debit card yet. Guy at the store said it would take 3 days. What's up. How long does it take. I have the refund receipt

It can take up to one billing cycle for the refund to post back, or depending on your bank's processing time, it may take up to 7 days after we process the return to reflect on your account. You can read more about our Return & Exchange Promise here.
