How to file complaint on manager at Trussville, AL store

A few weeks ago, I purchased a $200 TV for the waiting area of my business. After getting the TV set up, I turned it on and there was a green fist size on the screen. My husband brought it back to the store and the manager told him that it happened after the purchase and refused a refund or new TV. This DID NOT happen after purchased. I took the TV, NEW, out of the box. Said TV looked new until I plugged it in. I need to take this complaint to corporate. I need a phone number or email address for corporate.

Posting here gets it in front of the customer facing team based out of the corporate office. The majority of the corporate office employees are not in customer facing roles, and as such there isn’t a contact number or email that you can be provided with. One of the moderators should be by soon to address your concern.

We apologize if your local Best Buy in Trussville didn’t address your concerns in a professional or kind manner. We’d be happy to review your concerns in further detail for you.

 

Our Return & Exchange Promise does share that we’d be unable to take back damaged items for return. Was there any damage to the TV’s box? How did you transport the TV home? Typically, when damage is reported on a television it’s reviewed for a point of impact. It sounds like one was clearly noted. We look forward to your response to see how we may be able to assist you further.

The box was not damaged and it was transported in the back of a SUV. I purchased the TV to put in the waiting room at my business. I carefully removed the TV from the box, plugged it in, connected the cable then turned the TV on only to see a fist size green blob on the screen. The tv showed no signs of being broken until it was turned on.

Do you recall if the TV was transported face up or down? A fist size blob would signify pressure damage and as my partner Mariah mentioned previously under the Return & Exchange Promise period we are unable to take back damaged items for return. I'll continue to await your response to see if there is any other way we may be able to assist!

It was face up and nothing else was in the back with it. It did not slide around. It remained in the same place as I traveled.
