Given that my local store has had a long history of not putting new releases on the shelf and occasionally I'll run into an employee who can't locate something and doesn't want to put in much effort, is there any other way to actually buy something? I know I could find it in about 2 minutes if I could go behind the counter where the video games are just left in no particular order (there have been numerous times where one employee would not be able to find something and another employee will go instantly grab it from the same place the first employee looked). The employee confirmed they had 3 in the store, but since there were so few it was hard for him to find them. If there were 14, he could pull it off, though!
I don't really want to drive back to the store again or go on a scavenger hunt to other stores hoping to find a helpful employee. This item (SKU 6419955) is currently only available in store and not yet listed on BestBuy.com. Is it possible to do a ship-from-store order? I've never really understood why these stores get items that aren't initially available on BestBuy.com when they don't put them on the shelf anyway.

Thank you for reaching out regarding your trouble locating Mighty Switch Force NSW at your local store. Finding a copy should be a pretty simple experience if your store has stock, so I'm sorry to hear your experience varies so much depending on the associate you encounter. Please know that you should be able to place an in store order for ship to home, though the order would typically need to be placed in store. With that said, it looks like this game is now available on BestBuy.com, which should allow you to order for ship to home or Store Pickup. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know.

Thanks! Yeah, I saw it did become available for order on the site the next day, placed an in-store pickup order, then it was available for pick-up in around a half an hour I think.
At that store, I've had employees tell me something isn't there, ordered it for store pickup from the parking lot, went to another store in the area, then received the "Ready for Pickup" e-mail shortly after. On more than one occasion, I've had one employee tell me they don't have something and then another employee is asked and they go grab it. This one was a little more annoying since the employee was pretty much just saying since there were only 3 copies it was too hard to find.
I think part of their problem would be solved if they had someone to either put product on the shelf or could at least put new product in alphabetical order in the area around the registers where they dump new video games.
And it isn't like that store is currently busy.

Thank you for taking the time to follow up with Tasha. She is currently unavailable but I would be glad to step in.
Have you had the chance to speak to a store manager about your experiences? If not, I would be glad to make sure they are aware of your feedback. I will need some more information to do so. Can you please send me a private message that includes your:
Store location visited
Dates and times visited
Names on employees you spoke to
I look forward to hearing back from you.
