How many times can you exchange an item.

I bought a Samsung 49” q6 tv in November. It was for a house we were renovating and after changing the layout in the room we decided to go a little bigger. We wanted a 55” tv. At the time the 55” q6 would have been $400 more so we went with the NU8000 instead which was only $100 more. That exchange was done in February (holiday return window for elite plus). Now I see that the 55q6 is on sale for the same price I paid for the nu8000.

I know they’re very similar TVs, but i felt like the smaller q6 did have better picture and sound so I’m tempted to try for the exchange. Can I do an exchange still? I’m elite plus and it has been about 40 days since the first initial exchange in February.

I’m just exploring my options. Might not be worth the hassle but it kills me to have passed on the q6 to save money and now it dropped in price by $400. If you happen to be in the market for a tv, that’s a real steal! The q6 is a great tv for the money.

Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

Re: How many times can you exchange an item.

Hi there, chachzilla,

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Best Buy Forums with your question. We certainly want you to be happy with your new television, and it sounds like you are still unsure if you’ve made the right decision. I can appreciate you wanting to know what your options are.

Best Buy does offer a Return & Exchange Promise, and our Elite Plus customers are permitted 45 days from taking possession for most returns or exchanges. This would be from the date of your most recent exchange in February, so it sounds like you may have a few more days to decide.

All the models you mentioned are nice televisions. I don’t know that there would be a bad decision you could make, but if an exchange is something you decide to go with, it would need to be done soon. If you have additional questions, please let us know.

All the best.
