Horrible customer service

I've had an account with bestbuy for years and spent thousands of dollars there. Today I went in to return an item and repurchase it at the sale price but I was told because I was "just a member" and not an "elite" member that I was just outside that window. This was the General Manager!!!!! I'm sorry that I'm "just a member" I just we don't matter. Only elite status matters. Well guess what best buy, you lost my business and everyone else I can possibly tell what horrible customer service you have!

We do our best to help facilitate returns and exchanges in our stores that fall within the return and exchange period. To help keep customers in the know, we publish information on our Return and Exchange Promise on our website, on our receipts, and have it posted at our stores. Generally speaking, Core My Best Buy members have a 15 day return and exchange period on most items, however, some items may qualify for our extended holiday return and exchange period. I would be happy to help figure out if this is something that your item would qualify for. What is the item that you were seeking to return, and on what day was it purchased?
