Help, 5 conversations with CS and no resolution. How to escalate??

i purchased a TV on 11/07/20 and the price dropped the next week.

I contacted Bestbuy customer service on chat and was informed " Great news! The item is eligible for the price adjustment at $1799.99!"

AND

"Great news! I've submitted the request for the refund! It will take few days to be processed and then the refund itself should show up with your card/bank after up to one billing cycle."

3 billing cycles later, 4 additional chat sessions , and 1 phone call to CS over 2 1/2 months has yielded no results.

I have all the chats saved, case id's, my receipt, etc.....

I wish I would have returned it to the store, Got my money back, then bought it again at the lower price.

I didn't do that simply so Best Buy wouldn't be stuck with selling an open box at a lower price. I did the kind thing a pursued the price adjustment.

Please, someone tell me how to resolve this. Chat and Phone customer support are of no use. I've tried.

Thanks

Paul

Re: Help, 5 conversations with CS and no resolution. How to escalate??

Good afternoon, Paul,

I appreciate you joining our Support Forums and sharing your experience with us.  Ideally, our Price Match Guarantee process would be a simple and straightforward one, but from the sounds of your experience thus far, it's been anything but.

While I may not be able to undo the frustration this experience has already caused, I would like to take a closer look into your price match request, and make sure we're exploring all options available.  For me to review this matter further, I'll need you to send me a private message with the following information:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • The "Customer Service PIN" from the bottom of your receipt

As you can imagine, most of the information I'll need is sensitive information we'll want to keep out of the public view of our Support Forums, so be sure to use the blue "Private Message" button in my signature to get this sent my way.  If you're accessing our site on a mobile device, you may need to switch to "Full" or "Desktop" view before this button is visible to you.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
