Formal complaint against two managers at Best Buy stores

I would like to make a formal complaint regarding treatment I received from two managers at Best Buy stores. This bad treatment occurred in email.

 

I would like to have a written reprimand entered into both of their files and also see proof that this has happened and that they have both been retrained on how to deal with customers.

 

If store managers cannot be bothered to give excellent customer service, then how can you expect employees under them to treat customers well? A brief scan of complaints here shows how bad customer service is and that makes me angry. When will you get this under control?

 

I will not air the details of the incidents or the names of the managers here unless I have to. I probably should just to shame them and make them take notice. I will instead give your corporate office an opportunity to make this right and confirm the requests I am making.

 

Please reply to me at my email address and I will give you the details and names plus forward the emails that were sent between myself and these two managers.

Why have complaints made AFTER mine already been addressed here but mine has not?

 

Does one have to air the whole ordeal in order to be taken seriously?

I’m not sure which complaints you are seeing in this forum that got answered faster than yours, but it appears from seeing responses by the moderators to other topics that it is currently taking at least a few days to receive a reply. If you’ve located an active case, keep in mind that it is normal to see some replies back and forth to address their issue.

Once the moderators reach your post, they will likely request the details to be sent to them privately. They will pass the details along to the appropriate management to address the situation and even record details of the incident at corporate. One thing I can tell you for certain is that any actions taken against the employees will be handled internally and that outcome will not be shared.

Sorry, but no company does this. How a company deals with its employees is simply none of our business.

It's a forum, of course it will mostly have issues and complaints. Thousands of people have positive experience with Best Buy every week and of course no one comes here to tell the world about it.

To be honest, I am curious why you're exchanging emails with store managers. It feels like there has to be more to this story. I wouldn't mind to hear it, you don't have to post their names of course, it is a right thing to do to respect their privacy on the public forum.

I am not interested in answers from employees or members.

 

It's none of your buiness what my complaint is about, who it concerns, or why it has come about.

 

I only want to hear from people in a position to DO SOMETHING about the complaint.

 

All others are of no help at all.

Right. Well this is a Community forum, populated mostly by other customers and employees on their own free time.

 

If you want to only speak with official Best Buy representatives, you will need to call them.

The details I posted are to help clarify the situation while you wait and also help set expectations for what to expect since the outcome of any action taken against employees is never shared with the public. When the moderators reach your post, they can provide you with more details on this policy.

As I said, I don't need replies from anyone who is not in a postion to do something about the complaint.

 

I will not reply to either of you again and if necessary I will report you both as well.

 

Take your unhelpful comments somewhere else.

This is a community forum where everyone is encouraged to participate, please take a moment to review the forums participation guidelines.  Right now with COVID-19, and every single year during the holidays, the wait time increases due to the amount of traffic that hits this forum.  Whenever that happens, the moderators rely on those of us who are knowledgeable and experience to help provide the answers that we can, or in your case provide an explanation why you didn't get a repy in the first 13 hours that you posted your topic.  

 

As you can see from my profile, I have provided 199 recognized solutions and have 700+ kudos because of the accuracy of the information I provide.  I do so on my own personal time in an effort to assist others, I'm sorry that you found my posts unhelpful.  As this is a public forum, and my posts violate no rules while providing accurate information to you while you wait for a moderator, I would encourage you to use the "Block User" button if you're offended by my assistance.  I honestly thought this was pretty cut and dry: 1. Inform the customer on the estimated time in which to expect a reply from Best Buy Corporate and 2. Inform the customer of any policy related details that I can to get them on the right track/set expectations.
