First and last visit to Best Buy!

Me and my husband searched online for a good place to buy a stereo for his car. Best Buy attracted us due to the free installation offer. We drove 45 min to the nearest Best Buy.....this was our first time in a Best Buy ever. We found a radio and asked several associates for help! To which they all replied that the car audio section was not their “area” but they would send someone over. We asked 3 other associates in our 20 min wait....all they had to do was get the ladder out and grab the radio so we could purchase it. Still NOTHING! As we continued to stand there we watched 5 associates aimlessly walking down the isles....doing nothing! We finally said screw it! We purchased a small toy for my son and went to the counter and paid. There was a really sweet lady at checkout who actually seemed genuinely concerned about our horrible visit. She called the manager over and he apologized and what not and offered to get us help right away. At that point Best Buy had already left a bad taste in our mouth and we didn’t want to waste anymore of our time or money. I did explain to the manager that this was our first visit to this store in Greensboro NC and it was one of the worst costumer service experiences I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from this store. They need to train employees better....also employees who have basic knowledge of everything Best Buy sales. The prices are the same as other stores so if ur looking for customer service I suggest Walmart. Some how even they have better service than this joint! Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent in-store experience at our Greensboro location. I apologize that you did not receive the assistance we strive to provide our customers when looking to purchase a stereo for your husband's car. I hope the manager you spoke to provided any additional support you may have needed and expressed intentions to use your feedback as a training and learning opportunity for their employees.

 

I can understand that this first-time experience in one of our Best Buy stores may not have left the greatest first impression.
