Exchanging a laptop

Can you exchange a laptop to Best Buy if the stickers have been removed (the ones that state the Processor)? I have the box and everything that came with it, but one of the stickers was coming off so I pulled it off and the laptop is having issues just a few days in. I am still within the 15 day return window. Will I still be able to exchange it for another of the same kind?

They need all the original accessories. The dont need the stickers, you should be fine assuming you have the receipt.

Re: Exchanging a laptop

Hello, onionrats,

Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. That's a great question.

As noted in our Return & Exchange Promise, you should have 15 days to return that computer. Missing stickers should not matter, unless the computer itself was damaged taking them off. If there are scratches or dents from that removal, we may not be able to accept a return, as we do not accept returns on damaged items. Your best bet is to bring it in and have us check it out in person for a final determination.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Sincerely,
