Error on my Beats Fit Pro + AppleCare

I purchased a pair of Beats Fit Pro on 11/05/21 from Store #105 in Rancho Cucamonga. I also purchased a 2 year AppleCare plan for them. This week I went to get them serviced at my local Best Buy; one of the earbud "tails" was loose fitting. The Geek Squad employee informed me that my warranty had expired. I informed her that I purchased AppleCare and showed her the receipt in my Best Buy app. It looks like the person who rang up my headphones either scanned and/or registered a different pair of Beats, with a completely different serial. Now neither Apple or Best Buy will honor my AppleCare that I paid for, due to store/employee error. Is there anything that can be done from the upper level about this? I have all original packaging and receipts. FOR THE RECORD I WILL NEVER SHOP AT BEST BUY AGAIN DUE TO THIS ISSUE. SUCH A HEADACHE!!!
