Employee Recognition


I am writing to commend one of your employees at the Best Buy location at 1950 Santa Rosa Ave, Santa Rosa, CA.
On August 3, 2018, we were shopping for a new TV and Kyle, In the TV department, assisted us.  He explained the warranties available on the TV we were purchasing.  He helped me open a new Best Buy store credit card when it was discovered that my account I thought was still open, had been closed due to inactivity.  He went the extra step of carrying the TV out to our car and placing it in the backseat.
During our interaction with Kyle he was genuinely nice, focused on us and was not distracted, and very helpful with all of our questions.  It truly was an enjoyable, stress-free experience.
Kyle should be commended for his positive disposition and excellent customer service.  The service we received from Kyle was refreshing in a time where customer service is lacking, and sadly, not a priority for many businesses. He made us a priority and left us feeling very positive about our experience.  The way customer service used to be.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope it can be shared with Kyle so he knows he made a positive impact on someone’s day.

Hey, it's cool to recognize cool service when you see it so I'll add kudos to your post. Feedback begins with you so if you received an invite to a survey on your recent purchase, please fill it out as it helps the store recognize good employees where possible.


A Best Buy staff can also pass on the feedback too but your direct feedback on the surveys is the quickest way to communicate this Smiley Happy

Welcome to our forums!  I love when our customers take the time to recognize the fantastic service they receive when visiting our stores, and I’m glad you joined our Support Forums to do so!


Shopping for a brand new TV can sometimes feel like a daunting experience, so it’s awesome to hear you were in good hands with Kyle.  He certainly sounds like an expert in the world of TVs, and the fact that he was able to make you his number one priority during your visit makes this that much sweeter.


You mention “Kyle should be commended for his positive disposition and excellent customer service”, and I couldn’t agree with this statement any more.  Please know I’ll be forwarding your kind words to Kyle’s leadership team at our Santa Rosa, CA store, to make sure Kyle gets the recognition he richly deserves.
