Employee Recognition

I wanted to share some positive feedback about an interaction I had with two employees at the best buy location that is located at 567 Pinnacle Pkwy in Bristol, TN.

 

I had accidentally purchased the wrong size chest freezer on the website and had cancelled the order and was waiting for the money to be refunded. I had the cash on me to purchase the freezer I wanted, so I went into the store and explained my situation and which freezer I meant to buy.

 

Jared was the employee who helped me with my purchase in store.  While we were in the process of making my purchase, Jared noticed that it was charging me $69.99 for delivery when I only live 1.6 miles from the location that I was purchasing the freezer from when online it was a free delivery. He asked his manager Cody to come over because he had a question about why I was being charged for $69.99 delivery when I lived close to the location. Cody tried to find the answer himself and the only solution we could come up with was that the freezers weight was the reason why I was being charged for the delivery.

 

I never asked them to waive the delivery fee, I was more than willing to go ahead and pay the price for the freezer & the delivery, but they waived the delivery fee. I appreciated how friendly Cody and Jared both were and how dedicated they were in helping to find a solution for the problem. They went above and beyond and I appreciate their help.
