Employee Feedback For Cascade Station, Portland Oregon Location

Your site is very difficult for me to navigate, and I'm not sure if I was able to leave feedback correctly. I sent an email regarding my expierence, and left a review on the site - but wasn't sure if it was the correct "form". I really want to pass on my thanks regarding my expierence, so am posting here just to ensure it gets through.

I’m a 100% Disabled Army Veteran. My disability prevents me from leaving my home too often.

 

On 3/6/22 I found an "Open Box" TV online that was perfect for my daughters. I have 2 daughters and they each needed one. One was available close to me, which I purchased, and one was available at the Cascade Station location. The location was a bit away from me, but the price justified it. After paying the conformation said it would be available in an hour.

 

I made the drive, expensive with current gas prices. At "Store Pickup" I was told that the TV was no longer available. I was very upset and was referred to the manager, Isaiah. I was distressed and it was apparent. Gas prices for the trip and my PTSD symptoms made me feel utterly horrible! I may seem “tough”, but in this moment I was ready to return to my car in tears from the distress the drive and experience had caused.

 

Isaiah was the most helpful, friendly, calm, and compassionate employee I have ever spoke to, anywhere! He treated me with respect and genuinely wanted to find a way to assist. He took me to a specialist, Ji (Who was also awesome!) and offered me the same TV new. The employees handled a distressed customer in such a way I can't begin to describe the positive turn around in my emotions. Although I truly appreciate the TV, it was how these employees treated me that will leave a lasting impression on me. I wish more people with this level interpersonal skills worked at the Veterans Hospital. Please pass on my thanks! (And my daughters love the TV’s, they have immediately reduced the level of arguing at home)

Thank you for your service and happy to see a good outcome on this situation with the TVs. All my TVs were acquired from Best Buy and can tell you that its good to unwind at the end of the day with some good shows. I have a 32" Roku TV in the bedroom and a HiSense 55" Smart TV. I did not care for the Google TV built into the TV so broke down and got the Roku Express. 

 

Does your TV have apps built in? You can often find a Fire Stick Lite or a Roku Express for $29.99 in stores which is an inexpensive way to upgrade your TV. Unless you are into 4K streaming then you need the 4K models which get a little more pricier.

We also appreciate you choosing Best Buy for this investment. Our goal is to make the purchase and fulfillment process seamless, although I understand the open-box television you originally selected was somehow no longer available.
