Double Charged?

Hello,

I recently purchased a monitor from a store in Arizona.

I am seeing two charges of the same amount with time inbetween them (and other charges from me going about my day in between the two charges).

While I have read other forum posts about one charge being the authorization and one being the charge itself, I'd like to rule out that this was not a mistake if support can look at this.

Re: Double Charged?

A point of sale system should not duplicate the purchases. If this was an instore purchase. However if you ordered online and picked up in store one is a pre-auth an the other one is an actual charge. The other charge drops off within a few days.

However if this was directly purchased in the store you may wish to contact the store direct about the charge.

Re: Double Charged?

Good afternoon, Jvis,

Welcome to our forums!  I can’t imagine wanting to pay twice for one computer monitor, so I certainly understand why you’d want to look into this charge further and get as much clarification on it as you can.

I’ll be happy to assist and take a closer look into this purchase, however, I’ll just need some additional information from you.  If you could use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to send me:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address

This should be enough information for me to get started, and hopefully get you the answers you’re looking for.  As mentioned, be sure to use the blue “Private Message” button to get this sent my way, and if you’re accessing our site on a mobile device, you may need to switch to “Full” or “Desktop” view before this button is visible to you.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
