Denied a return on a tv

I purchased a 70" Samsung TV from my local store right before closing time on a Sunday. I got the tv home, and opened the back of the box to attach the wall mount. I then removed the styrofoam, plastic, and the rest of the box to find a crack on the top right corner of the tv. I took the tv back first thing the next morning only to be told that I must have dropped it and that's why the screen is damaged. The supervise made me feel like I was lying and trying to defraud the store. I was caught off guard by the accusation and did not want to cause a scene at that time. I am the one who in fact feels defrauded. I ended up purchasing another TV from the store at that time out of necessity. Please consider refunding me on the tv that is damaged through no fault of my own. I look forward to your response.
