Delayed Item


Recently went to purchase an iPad mini w cellular from local Best Buy store. It was not in stock and was told it would be ordered and arrive in a few days. Afterwards the order was auto canceled when not delivered to the store on the expected date. Best Buy and I re-ordered with again a few days delivery expected. The item again has not arrived at the date stated (both from online and in-store) and has now been about 3 weeks. Nobody can tell me any status updates other than “pending”. What I don’t understand is why there is an estimated delivery time listed online of a few days when the item is not available even at any store in the country I was told. Why is the item simple not listed as “backordered” or “out of stock”? Also, why can’t anyone tell me what the actual situation is including customer service reps on the phone?

It’s an understandably frustrating experience when your order takes longer to arrive than originally anticipated, and I’m sorry to hear that seems to be the case with your recent iPad Mini order.


While I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to provide a different answer than what it sounds like you’ve been given, I would like to review your order further, and offer any additional assistance I can.  For me to do so, I’ll ask that you send me a private message with the following information:


  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number
