Dark Souls - Switch (missing cartridge)

I buy about a game every week or two at Best Buy but this was a first.. get dark souls for the switch. Notice the plastic wrap was slightly ripped,but couldn’t really look at it because it’s game and the guy immediately rang me up. Gave him my discount card, bam paid. Get home ready to play. And no cartridge. Has this happened to anyone else before? What’s steps can I take? The game was opened up on the table there’s NO way it fell but I still checked. Please guys seeking advice. I lost receipt but paid with Apple Pay and gamer club

Store in queens (original location) had one copy left. Can’t find it. Go all the way into manhattan who said they wouldn’t do it because it messes up their inventory... said I can buy another copy and wait for it to be resolved.... I buy a game a week. And I can’t get help at two locations despite the second location having it in stock..

I buy 65 dollar games weekly I wouldn’t look at my membership. My wife even has the credit card and gamers club. I wouldn’t lie for a 30 dollar game. And I didn’t appreciate being called a liar

My full name is Michael {removed per forum guidelines}. My wife’s name is Melissa {removed per forum guidelines}. That is who’s gamer club we use. My telephone number is {removed per forum guidelines} however hers is the primary gamer club which I imagine you can look up the purchase that way correct? {removed per forum guidelines}. I don’t have the receipt all I have is her credit card and the phone number attached to the account.
