Curbside pick up marked complete, NOT picked up by me!!

Hello, I ordered a minifrigerator on 11/29/20, extended pick up date another week and then got the dreaded email that everyone around here is getting that the item was picked up on Friday the 18th (item picked up complete 12/18).  I did not come to pick up this item on Friday the 18th as this email indicates.  I made a phone call to your store (Best Buy Fairlakes, Virginia) store and a customer service rep stated that the order was marked for pick up so a refund would not be issued and that the item should still be there. I drove to the store on Sunday the 20th and spoke to a gentleman at the curbside pick up who went to see if he could find the item (minifrigerator).
After about 20 minutes he and another person came out to state that they could not locate the item and that they would follow up with a phone call later in the day to determine if the item could be reordered or just shipped to my house due to the issue that I was having.  
I still have not received a phone call to this day regarding this item from the Best Buy at Fairlakes.  I have tried to call this store but the phone lines are full and it just disconnects (lots of holiday volume).  
I would like a full refund to be processed for this item.  
I have already opened a dispute with my credit card company and will be escalating with corporate Best Buy due to the order being marked picked up when I never came to the pick up the item. On top of this I am aware that for curbside pickup to be completed the purchaser has to show a drivers license and a copy of the order for the purchase to marked complete.  This is devious and bordering on fraudulent behavior if item is marked complete without the purchaser picking up.  
If you would like to reach out to me to resolve please do so.  I have sent this same comments in an email to the Fairlakes Best Buy.

This issue was resolved with a refund.  The manager would not respond to an email from me, but only conatacted me after I posted a complaint on this forum and Alyssa reached out to them to contact me.  


Will be taking by business elsewhere after this headache.
