Complaint on Poor Customer Service with Manager

I went into my local BestBuy store to purchase my mom a cell phone. The phone had a sticker price of $69.99. When I got to the register the item was totaled at $119.00. The cashier asked me to show him where the item was located. He said the sticker was cut off so the correct price wasn’t showing. He then asked the manager, JAMES {removed per forum guidelines}, to discount the item because the sticker was incorrect. The manager was VERY RUDE!! He said he wasn’t discounted it and he wasn’t forcing me to buy it anyway!! There were several phones with the incorrected sales price displayed. Before I left I made sure to take pictures of the items listed with the incorrected amount displayed! BestBuy should treat there customers with more respect and with better customer service! I will be sure to save the pictures that I have taken before I left the store!

Welcome to our forums.  I’m sorry we weren’t able to reply to your post sooner, as we’ve become a bit backlogged on our Support Forums over the past few days.  While we work to reply to our customers as soon as possible, your patience is greatly appreciated.

 

Whenever shopping with us, be it in one of our stores, or online, we’re hopeful each of our customers will be satisfied with their shopping experience.  It sounds like there may have been some confusion surrounding the price of the phone you were hoping to purchase, and I apologize for the disappointment this experience may have caused. 

 

We can’t hope to improve the level of service we provide our customers without their feedback, so while I wish your visit had ended on a more positive note, I’m thankful you took the time to share your experience with us.

This post didn’t really anything! Yet you apologized but did not address the situation. Best Buy will begin to lose A LOT of their customers (including me) because of how you handle poor customer service. I will not be shopping here again. My money is valuable as I work very hard to earn it. You do not value your cutomers! James was beyond RUDE!
