Charged for an extra Apple Pencil

I have previously purchased an iPad, one Apple Pencil, and a case on my Best Buy credit card. I used my 24 month financing and have been making monthly payments without any issue. I was just scanning my remaining balance on my account and came to discover that I was charged for two apple pencils. Normally I wouldn’t make a big deal about it but that’s an extra $100 that I need for things like tuition, rent, food. The thing is, I made this purchase a while ago, I haven’t gotten any help over the phone. On the phone they tell me to contact the store I bought it from, at the store they tell me I have to call so I’m not really sure what to do. I know that the 15-30 day policy is up but you can’t just go around charging people $100 for their own mistake for a product that I was never given. It’s really upsetting that I didn’t notice it sooner but I guess I thought I could just trust this company. I can’t believe you guys just stole $100 from me and I would really really appreciate getting my money back.

Re: Charged for an extra Apple Pencil

Hi there, Crumb,

Welcome to the Best Buy Forums and thank you for taking the time to write in to us.

As someone who tracks all their expenses, I can most certainly understand wanting to review those charges to ensure that they are accurate and reflected properly. Being that these charges were made on your Best Buy credit card, contacting Citi directly may be the best option to review any options available at this time. Please contact Best Buy Credit Card support through Citibank at (888) 574-1301 for further assistance.

Best Regards,
