Problems with a product!

Spoiler

Spoiler

Hello, my uncle (an older person) bought a cell phone in his store, with certain specifications for it to work in Argentina.

The problem is that: he asked the seller for a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, provided that it was the G935FD or G935F Submodel for the 4G LTE band to operate in my country. When arriving in Argentina it was pointed out that they had sold another one with a different Submodel (G935UZSAX), therefore it would not work the band 4G LTE. (The cell phone is still unused).

He feels cheated and would like to know how to change it or return the money. How can we solve it?

I await your response, thank you

Re: Problems with a product!

The phone would need to be returned to a store with in 14 days of purchase.

Re: Problems with a product!

The phone has been purchased for more than a month, but it has not been used is intact. And they never explained to him about the 14 days. What alternative would there be?

Re: Problems with a product!

Since it's past return period it would be up to the store. If this is a contract phone, then there wouldn't be a way to make an exception due to contracts. If it's not a contract then you generally have 15 days. The other thing is your uncle might need to create a forum user to communicate with the mods due to privacy policy.

Re: Problems with a product!

First of all thanks for replying. Why would it be helpful for my uncle to create a user? How can I communicate privately with someone from Bestbuy? I wrote to the store where the purchase was made and nothing!
