I am just posting this to all avenues of support to get a response. Yesterday (11/24/21) I purchased 2 sealed 14tb Western Digital Easystores in-store at the Gessner location in Houston and came back home to test it, only to find out that I had significantly less capacity. I tried to return it at the store but they refused the refund saying that I tampered with it. Tried calling customer service and everything and no luck in getting this situation fixed. Additionally, when I came back to my home and when I was checking the drives again late at night, it occured to me that the employees broke the enclosure making it impossible for me to even get a manufacturer's warrantly issued.
I have emailed the leadership from the location and I have also warned others not to buy from you guys as you might not get what you paid for:
