Bought the new imac got an empty package!!!!

I bought a NEW imac, ordered to online and came to pick it up the the Jordan Landing Store here in Utah. I had been saving up for this for a while now, and was super excited to use it! I bought a new desk as well, so I was in a rush to go pick that up. When I got the packages into my home, I noticed the box had a slit through the seal. I work at AT&T and work with packaged tech and sometimes there are slits, so I didn’t think too much of it. I finished setting up my desk late at night, and got ready to open up my box. First I noticed a bunch of plastic laying in the box, and then i saw no computer, keyboard, or mouse. I literally do not know what to do, I heard the mac was light, and the box was heaving FOR JUST A BOX so I genuinely thought that there was a computer in it! I am absolutely freaking out because I am out 1300 dollars I saved just for this mac!!! I am going to the store first thing tomorrow but I am literally so afraid that they won’t be able to do anything for me because it isn’t in the box. How does a store make a mistake like this??? It’s literally setting someone up, this is so terrible and I have no clue what to do.
