On 01/14/23 I bought a new Insignia 43" TV which was on sale on the website. I ordered it to pick up at the Boise Best buy location. Same day I went to pick up, and brought the TV home. After coming home and opening the box, I recognize I recieved a completely different size, and brand TV. It was an LG tv, roughly 30", clearly used, no stand and no remote. Due to work and obligations I was unable to go to the store until Friday 1/20/23, and request a refund. The store manager Christine told me there was nothing she could do, and gave me the corporate number to call. I called the corporate number, and they told me that I should be issued a refund and to head back to the store. So I go back to the store again, and the same manager tells me (very rudely) that she is deciding not to refund me. By this time its roughly 7pm and calling corporate again they tell me they're transfering me and the line disconnects. I'm now extremely frustrated and angry, and have wasted hours of my time + gas from driving back and forth. I have disputed the charge on my best buy citi credit card.
What could I do to get a refund? The corporate number that I called told me I should be getting a refund, but the manager at the store wont issue me one.
