Best Buy employee hit my car with cart.

[ Edited ]

He ducked back into store after looking to see the damage. Assistant manager said someone would be in contact with me. Would not give me employees name. Noone has been in contact and noone will answer the phone. Store was Columbia Heights, DC. Assistant Manager was Carlton {removed per forum guidelines}. I would like a contact e-mail and phone outside of this store as I believe they are sweeping it under the rug. Thanks.

Re: Best Buy employee hit my car with cart.

Hello, SparkyMcSparkle,

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for reaching out. I truly wish it were under better circumstances though, and apologize for the delay in our reply as we are a bit backed up due to higher volumes. Employees should always take care to avoid damage to customers' property, so it is discouraging to hear there was an incident involving a shopping cart and your vehicle, resulting in damage. There is a process in place for property damage claims, which should be simple to follow, so I'm sorry to hear that on top of the incident occurring at all, you're having difficulties getting it resolved. I would be happy to take a closer look at this issue and see how I may help. Please keep an eye on your inbox in the top right corner of the page for my private message coming your way.
