Best Buy Refusing to Exchange Defective TV Within 3 days of Purchase

My husband and I purchased a 55-inch 4K television from Best Buy on Saturday. Today is Tuesday and he just now had the time to set up the TV. As we have looked over the TV we noticed on the bottom right-hand corner, there is a crack in the frame of the television. I immediately contacted the Best Buy manager and requested to exchange the television which was purchased in-store three days ago. The manager said if I had brought in the TV the day after I purchased it, then I could exchange it. This is very confusing and frustrating because Best Buy sold us a defective product, we are within the 15-day exchange policy, and we have purchased thousands of dollars of electronic products from Best Buy over the last several years. My husband is a military veteran who is very skilled in setting up electronics and we have never had any issues with Best Buy products prior to this. Amazon and Walmart honor their exchange policies and Best Buy should do the same! Please help us get this TV exchanged.

Purchasing from Best Buy should be fast and seamless!   Should you not be satisfied with your new technology then you’re backed by our Return and Exchange Promise.  It’s disheartening to hear you noticed physical damage to the bottom right of the screen days after you took it home, and I too would be looking for help, and I appreciate the chance to see what I can do to better assist you!

 

I was unable to locate any purchases that were placed under the email address provided.  Can you send me your full name, phone number email address, and customer service pin from the bottom of your receipt.
