I received an email a while back stating that "Best Buy Pay" was available for BB card members which allowed you to use the BB app to pay by showing a code to the cashier. Thus eliminating the need to bring the card to the store.
Well, I'm pretty tech savvy, but I honestly can't see how to set this up in the app. There's no mention of it anywhere.

It states for the app:
I can't find anything about setting up this "PIN". My BB card is already my only payment method and I've tried removing and re-adding it.
I'm using the latest version of the app on an iPhone X on the latest iOS version.
Please help as I always forget to take my BB card to the stores, and I don't like typing in my social everytime for them to look it up.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Best Buy Community forums about the issue you’re having setting up Best Buy Pay on your phone. Using it is for sure easier than typing in your Social Security number every time you make a purchase.
The app should automatically prompt you to set that PIN up when you register your card. Please remove the card from your account, and then remove and reinstall the Best Buy app, and then re-add the card. Hopefully it’ll let you set the PIN up then.
If that doesn’t work, please reach out to Citi, the bank that services your My Best Buy credit card, at (888) 574-1301. They should be able to help you set that PIN up so that you can use Best Buy Pay on your phone.

Thanks for going through all of that trouble. I'm sorry that it still isn't working for you.
As noted here, you’ll need that My Best Buy credit card to be the primary card on your account. My advice is to remove all credit cards from your account on our web site, rather than the app. Then add just the My Best Buy card to the account through the web site.
After that, you should hopefully be able to get Best Buy Pay set up.

If you’ve made sure that your My Best Buy credit card is your default payment method on both the app and on the web site, my only other suggestion would be to set up a reservation to visit your local Geek Squad here. Bring in your laptop, phone, and credit card. We can take a look at it hands on, and see if we can do any troubleshooting for you.
