Best Buy Frisco Tx Preston Road

We bought a TV for our in laws off the website and had it delivered. It was there 1 week delivered and this morning we unboxed it to set it up. When we unpackaged the tv I noticed a break right in the center of the TV. We immediately went to the nearest Best Buy to exchange it. We went to the one off Preston road here in Frisco, Tx. We were told they would not return it because there was zero damage to the box. I said that means very little. And they said it’s Best Buy rules. I asked to speak to a manger and a little bald guy showed up, Anthony, he gave me no help. He said he will not take it back or exchange it. I told him what happened and he said that is not his fault. I asked whose fault it was and he said not his. At that point I asked for his boss, another little guy named Richard showed up and was even more rude. Every sentence started with “well since you don’t understand let me explain...” I’m 32 and run an online retail store. I don’t need to be told how retail explained. What they need to learn is customer service. He essentially called me and my father in law liars. I will put my hand on the Bible and say this tv was broken inside the box and not by us. I am a navy vet and my father in law and mother in law have spent 20 years working for the city. I am a Best Buy Elite member and have been for 5 years. I spend way too much money in that store on games and movies and technology. To be called a liar as we were is unacceptable. We are now our 1000 dollars and have a broken tv that was broken by Best Buy. Any help would be appreciated. I’m sorry to be THAT “I spend x amount of money here” I hate that guy but after being treated this way I’m not sure why I’ve ever spent a dollar there.

Generally sence you ordered it online, you can call the customer service number and they will issue you a call tag to have it picked up and returned.
