Best Buy Did Not Honor Posted Sale Price

I was really looking forward to purchasing Bose headphones for my husband. Because of previous positive experiences I decided to go to the local Best Buy to purchase them. On 01.01.20 I went to Best Buy and saw that they had sales on Bose headphones. I picked out Bose QC35II on sale from $349.99 to $279.99. A discount of $70.00 item number SKU:5876115. When I got to the register the price did not reflect the sale. I asked if they could grab me the ones for $279.99 in black. The staff indicated that they only had silver color available, so I offered to purchase the black Bose QC35II online. Before I left I took a picture of the sale tag to make sure I get the same model. I became really confused when I could not find the same sale online. I drove back to the store and pointed out the discrepancy in the prices. At first the cashor said she would honor the sale price and just needed her manager. She soon came back and said th at the sale is over and the manager told her they can't do anything. The manager did not come to talk to me...very disappointed in that. I couldn't really talk to the cashir because I know she doesn't make those decisions. They could have tried to figure something out, the sale sign was still there without any limitation dates. How was I suppose to know that the sale was over a week ago. I felt like this was switch and bait, the headphones were clearly marked on sale and no one wanted to take responsibility for the mistake. Feels like Best Buy is only there to take your money and not provide good costumer service. Customer is not longer at the center of their mission. Again, very disappointing.

Welcome to our forums, and thank you for sharing your experience with us.  While we try to make sure our products are advertised correctly both online and in our stores, we’re unable to guarantee product descriptions or prices are completely error free.  While this is outlined in our Terms and Conditions, it certainly can be disappointing when it leads to confusion regarding the price of your potential purchase, and I apologize for any frustration this experience has caused.
