I bought an iPad Pro on November 7 at the Best Buy store in Muskegon, MI. Set it up and used it for four days. Opened it on Friday evening and lower third of screen showed multicolor lines. I did NOT drop it or put undue pressure on it. Went back to store on November 12, fully expecting to exchange and be on my way. Cashier and Lead of Geek Squad insisted I damaged it and it could not be returned or refunded.
I've had iPads for six-plus years and am fully aware of how to handle. Employees weren't concerned in the least about trying to help or make a purchase that's less than a week old right.
Needless to say, I'll never buy anything from Muskegon store again and will likely not buy anything from ANY Best Buy.
I'm 66 and don't need to lie about a device if I damage it. Just generally disappointed and disgusted at the way I was treated.

I would be happy to look further into this on your behalf. Please feel free to send me a private message with your full name, phone number, email address, and order number.
