Best Buy Customer Service Issue | Upgrade+ Return

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro using Best Buy's Upgrade+ program and I am trying to return it. Unfortunately, it is three days past the return window. I went to the store to see if they would make an exception, and the manager was willing to help, but there was a physical limitation in the software that did not allow them to enter an override code. They advised me to contact 888-Best-Buy for assistance, but when I called the customer service line, they told me I had to go back to the store for them to process the return. I am extremely frustrated with the runaround I have been getting and am looking for a solution to this issue. Can anyone offer any advice on how to proceed? |

I can certainly understand wanting support on your MacBook Pro purchased with the Upgrade+ Program. You can return your purchase within Best Buy’s standard return and exchange period and your Citizens Pay account will be credited accordingly. 

 

However, out-of-policy returns cannot be completed for any Upgrade+ orders. If you require service on the item, you should contact Apple for any manufacturer’s warranty support.

Can an exception be made? The store was willing to do it and I also contacted Citizens and they are okay with the return as well. It is literally 4 days from the return date.

Due to the nature of the Upgrade+ Program, the refund process is tied to a line of credit, which may produce some complications with your refund. 

 

I would need to research this further to see if this is possible.
