Bad Store Experience

Hello, I went into Beat Buy Mueller Airport store to purchase infant monitor. I saw an online price with Google best buy for lower but the cashier wouldn't honor the price match even though it said it was sold and shipped from Best Buy. I explained to her supervisor and showed the website and she said she didn't know why it was showing a $20 reduced price and really didn't care to investigate why there was a website discrepancy or to honor the price match. It's disappointing that price match is advertised and even when it is it's own site the price wasn't matched. Even when I log on now that price is still visible.

If your talking about the Google store, its it's own separate entity thru Google with it's own policies. It's an online only price.

Re: Bad Store Experience

Hi there, puentejessica,

Welcome to our Best Buy community forum! As someone who loves a good deal, I can understand why you'd be looking for a Price Match when you saw the item for $20 less through Best Buy on Google Express. I know that's something I'd want to look into as well if in your shoes!

Our goal is always to provide our customers with the best experience we can, so I'm sad to hear that you felt blown off when you asked for the cashier at our Best Buy Mueller Airport location in Austin to Price Match the deal. That's not how we want you to feel when you're looking for help!

However, nckhammond is correct that Best Buy through Google Express is separate from Best Buy, so we'd be unable to Price Match that offer. You can learn more about what qualifies for a Price Match by checking out our Price Match Guarantee for more details.
