BOGO phone credit

I recently purchased the galaxy s10 and recieved the s10e supposedly free for verizon. The sales person told me i would recieve a bill credit by the third month, and if i hadnt, to come back on talk to someone in the store. That was on 3-24-19. I went in on the 6-23-19 and a different sales person told me that i could not recieve the bill credit because a stipulation was to have the unlimited plan and unless verizon changed it, there wasn't anything that could be done. I know if someone sold me a phone and told me i would get a seperate phone free via bill credits, thats what should be done. What can i do to remedy the situation.
