Our Price Match Guarantee does not cover:

Good afternoon Cwil2933,
Welcome to our forums. My apologies for the delay in our reply to your post, as our Support Forums have become backlogged over the past few days. I really appreciate your patience, and although it looks like bobberuchi has beaten me to it, I’ll be happy to answer your questions regarding our Price Match Guarantee.
As you can see, bobberuchi has provided what is not covered by our Price Match Guarantee. To clarify, if the price of the Xbox One X you had your eye on was offered to you because of your Amazon Prime membership, this would fall under a discount relating to a non-warehouse membership program, and therefore would not qualify for a price match.
If you have any other questions regarding our Price Match Guarantee, feel free to review its full terms and conditions here.
Regards,

I just happened to stumble upon this post and both of these answers are incorrect. Just because an item is listed as Amazon PRime, does not mean in any way whatsoever that the price of the item is different for someone who is a Prime Member. It ONLY means that you will be offered a discount on shipping, in some but not all cases. The Amazon Prime membership does not have a benefit that lowers the price of any item that they sell, so your theories would be incorrect.

Anything listed as a "Prime Deal" was exclusive to Prime Members and was not available to non-members, this is quite common on Amazon. I recall this specific deal, and while I hate to contradict you, it WAS exclusive to Prime Members only. If I had not already purchased an Xbox One X prior to this sale, I would have jumped on this deal. Granted, the pricing has dropped across the board since then.

That explanation is not the same as the previous ones, from what I can tell. The original issue, was one that I also was curious about, which was simply that the item was listed as prime. It did not mention it was a Prime Deal, which yes, would be different. However, I went to Besy Buy today and they gladly matched an Amazon Prime priced item, which is all I wanted to clarify. There are many posts where people are saying they won't accept any price matching at all if a item is Prime, and that simply is NOT the case! Happy shipping to all!
