After a chat with Apple and subsequent phone support that failed to fix a transfer problem from old iphone to new iphone, a short visit with Agent Zach S. at the Best Buy in Orange Park, FL fixed the glitch in no time at all. Zach was very polite, extremely knowledgable, and speedy. Kudos to Zach and thanks to Best Buy for employing such a great person.
