After 2 years on something I realized that the staff gave me the wrong version of the iPad Pro 12.9

M1 iPad Pro was released at May or something, we went to the store by July 2021 to get the newest version of the chip, we trusted the staff that she gave us the newest version, and which is the 2021 version, but she gave us the 2020 version and the bill was the 2020 version. And since the bill only says 4th gen iPad Pro, I did not notice that I am not getting the newest version, I was willing to pay the price for the newest version but she gave me the older version. I went to the store and they say I can’t return it nor replace it (I will be willing to pay the price difference) because I did not notice the difference within the 15 days of return policy. How on earth is Best Buy relying on the client to notice this their product when this is supposed to be their job? Not to mention that the 2020 and 2021 versions look exactly the same.

15 days is a pretty short time, but I can't think of ANY retailer that would do anything about this after 2 years....especially considering you were charged for the product you received.

Our Return & Exchange Promise does allow for most items to be returned or exchanged within 15 days from the date of purchase. It is true that with the amount of time that has passed, we would not be able to process a return or exchange for you.

 

While I know that the model you did purchase is a great device, I understand what it's like wanting to have the latest and greatest.
