12 year old son bought a computer

My 12-year-old saved up his money to buy a computer. He worked for a year. Doing odd jobs. He went to Best Buy several times along with me and got advice from sales people they are on which computer to purchase based on what he wanted to do with the computer. After purchasing the computer he told me it would not do what the sales people told him it would do. I took it back to Best Buy to the geek squad who didn’t open it and didn’t turn it on or anything and told me basically we just didn’t know what we were doing. I didn’t hire two separate IT people to come to our home to help my son. They were unable to get the computer to do what we were promised it would do. By that time we were outside of our 30 day purchase time And I was told to late too bad. I feel that this was the fault of Best Buy in giving my son bad advice and Geek Squad not even being willing to open or turn on a computer. I have called customer service, I have been into Best Buy and spoke with managers. No one will help us with this. I’m very sad that we used Best Buy to purchase a computer. My son worked very hard in order to be able to purchase this And now he has a computer that does not do what he was promised it would do. Anyway, I am getting zero help from anyone at Best Buy.

What model computer? What is it supposed to do that it doesnt?
