discrepancy in terms of extended warranty

I recently purchased a refrigerator, microwave, stove and dishwasher, each with an extended warranty. I just noticed on the receipt that the coverage date for these "extended" warranty commences the date of delivery despite what the sales associate and your website says. I was explicitly told the warranty started at the end of the manufacturer's warranty and that my "three year warranty really covers me for four years."
Per the website: "An additional three or five years of coverage is provided beyond the manufacturer's warranty period, depending on the length of the Plan purchased."
I called the customer service line to confirm that the warranty should start at the end of the manufacturer's coverage and was adamantly told that the paperwork was correct and the "coverage starts the day of purchase". I asked to speak to someone else but could no longer wait on hold for the transfer. 
Per your associate and website, the date of my coverage is incorrect and would like my account and written confirmation to reflect that the coverage I paid additionally for EXTENDS past that provided by the manufacturer.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out o us here at the Best Buy Community forums. I apologize for my late response. Due to a busier than usual past few weeks, it is taking longer than I’d like to get back to everyone.  


As noted in our Geek Squad Protection Terms & Conditions, in most cases the plan will run concurrently with the manufacturer’s warranty, as it provides protection beyond what the manufacturer offers. Sometimes, though, the plan is extended beyond that. I’d very much like to take a look into your order to see if any of the products you purchased fall into one of the product categories where the plan does not begin until after the manufacturer’s warranty expired.
