I bought a computer which needed repair due it constantly shutting down. One store apparantly sent it out for repair, only for it not to be fixed at all. i took it to another location whose manager guessed that nothing was done, that it was probably a bad item, and said they would send it to repairs to check it out. they never called me to pick it up, and still have my computer 4 months later!

Thanks for reaching out to us here on Best Buy Forums. I can certainly understand wanting an update on your repair. To check the status of your repair, I recommend reaching out to the store where you dropped your device off for service. You should also be receiving email communication about its progress as long as you have given the correct email address at the time of drop-off.
I would recommend tracking your repair online using your Service Order Number.
