Waste of money!

In Feb 2020, my wife and I purchased a brand new dishwasher from Best Buy in Heath, OH. Our dishwasher was delivered & installed March 3rd and have had no issues until now. Our dishwasher suddenly started shorting out. We would have to try and cleat it and restart. It will beep constantly like it's restarting mid clean. My wife loaded the dishwasher and returned to the kitchen to find it had leaked all over the floor, and has since ruined the bottom of my kitchen cabinets. The dishwasher never made a sound when it leaked. My wife stopped the dishwasher and opened the door and an AE code popped up on the screen. We immediately grabbed towels and tried to stop the water. Finally the dishwasher started to drain. Once the water was completely removed, it started making grinding gurgling noises like it was still trying to drain. Everytime we tried to stop and cancel, it turned back on continuously trying to drain. Our dishwasher is hard wired in and couldn't just be unplugged. We tried placing a call in the evening and reached a recording it was after hours, although the website says Geeksquad agents are available 24/7. We called geek squad the next morning, and they told us we didn't have a protection plan, however, found my plan and it doesn't expire until 2025! After correcting the agent, they took the info and said they would have to call me back "if" they find a tech to come fix it. I asked what to do about the constant beeping and draining, and they told me to try and reset it. We were not able to do so. I received a call 5 days later stating they couldn't find a tech for my area and have submitted a claim to the claims department and they'd be reaching out for alternative methods. The dishwasher finally stopped beeping , but I'm afraid the lack of urgency caused it to burn up!
A week and half later, still no calls from best buy or geek squad! My wife placed a call and they told her to call claims and give them the claim number, that they would check on things for her. We weren't given a claim number, so the rep refiled a claim and told her someone would be calling anywhere from 6-8 hours , no more than 24 hours as it was considered an escalated emergency case. She verified BOTH hers and my phone number, Again, no one ever called. I placed a call once again this past Saturday to best buy, and was forwarded to Geek Squad where I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that wasn't possible and someone would have to wait for a call back. I asked how long it'd be and the rep said within the same day. NO ONE ever called! For someone to spend HUNDREDS of dollars on appliances to be given the run around on having it fixed, especially since we paid for a protection plan, is really frustrating! If it can't be fixed, replace it! It's sickening the amount of supervisors and representatives running away from their jobs, very unprofessional and has since been reported to BBB for unprofessional service, failing to comply with providing a manager or supervisor upon request, and fraud for offering a 24/7 geek squad customer service - that you're charging people - and not fixing or servicing the products !
